And which cups ppd file did you choose, LaserJet_4xxxxxxx, when you configured your printer?
I'm going to check what Bruce suggested (maybe it's a setting on the printer). The thing is that I don't remember this happening while printing on Windoze. That's really the reason I always thought that it was something on my configuration...but I'll give it a try (checking the printer itself) I chose LaserJet_4_Plus-ljet4.pdd.gz manually because the one YaST selected for my HP LaserJet 4 Plus on SUSE 10 didn't work..whereas YaST from SUSE 9 used to select LaserJet_4_Plus-ljet4.pdd.gz that works. I changed it SUSE 10 and it works great. After this, I think I can wipe out my SUSE 10 test partition and install it full-blown and say goodbye to SUSE 9. Thanks, Jorge
