Hi experts,
I got almost everything working on my new TP42p but still have few issues I don't know to fix.
1. Fonts in Mozilla based application are too small and even setting font size to 28 and up does not help for say thunderbird email body text. Also in firefox, say headlines are ok and get change when font size is changed but article text stays too small. Using <ctrl> + does makes spaces between lines bigger but does not change fots size.
You don't say what distro version you have installed, gut I assume it is a fresh install. Anyway, every time I have done a new install I have the same problem you have described with apps that use gtk. The cure is to set up apps like Mozilla, Firefox, GQview etc. with the Gnome Control Center and/or Gnome1 Control Center to make all of the changes you like in those apps. They may already be installed. Go to >Utilities > Desktop and they should be there. If not install them from the CD/DVD.
2. when dvd is inserted, it gets auto mounted to /media/
which is causing a bit of problem so I'd like to hange it to /media/dvd instead 3. xcdroast works for root but for regular user it spits errror:cdrecord: Cannot allocate memory. Cannot get SCSI I/O buffer, which matches 'Bugzilla Bug 136066 ' in 2.6.8 kernel but I have 2.6.11.4-21.9.
Any suggestions appreciated.
