I have a question regarding the YaST control center. More specifically the option under the security menu asking about the file permissions. The 3 options avialable are:
easy secure paranoid
My question about these is this; What are the numerical values assigned to files for each of these three settings. Example: chmod 0755 *, chown user:group *. Any help on this is appreciated.
The access rights and ownerships for these settings are specified in files /etc/permissions.{easy,paranoid,secure}. If you want to override these settings, enter you own values in permissions.local.
