Hi Roland & Kevan, I'll explain it using just one example... the first detailed failed dependency: "libglib-1.2.so.0 is needed by (installed) gtk-1.2.10-882.1" This line is telling you that libglib-1.2.so.0 will be removed (updated to a newer version) when the new package is installed and that gtk-1.2.10-882.1 will break as a result. It looks like several other files and packages on the system will be similarly affected. It would be helpful to know why you're trying to install just that one package, Roland. regards, - Carl
