Setting timezone in the Wiki/Special Pages

Hi, I was just wondering why my timezone is set wrong. So I wanted to correct it via the preferences page. Whatever I filled into that field, after pressing SAVE PREFERENCES and changing to the timezone-setting again the time is still wrong. Anyone experienced that to? Anyone knows a solution?
