With red-carpet, you could subscribe to the stable channel, but still install stuff from unstable, and dependencies would be met from the subscribed channels first, and then the unsubscribed ones. Not sure how Yast2 or apt handle these things. -- Simon Crute IS&T Bracknell Novell UK Ltd
