Anyone remember the Winston commercials of the 1960s where they argued over like or as in "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should"? this problem exists. Dylan's posts are a perfect example of this. When I moved from California to Georgia, I had to learn a lot about the culture. I found there are those here who are still fighting the civil war (figuratively). There is a lot of mangling of the language here and people can get hostile if you try to correct them. Anyone young or old can learn the correct way if they are open to it. If on the other hand they attempt to rationalize or say you should get used to it, you would be wasting your words in trying to convince them otherwise. Damon Register
