Hello, before I spout off any questions I like to let folks know who I am. So, here goes. I'm a System Administrator for a local Health System here in Nashville TN, USA. I've been using SUSE since the Year 2000 at least. I have had some Enterprise training on SLES 9 through a local Novell Partner (very good BTW). I have also been using Novell's products since at least 1993. I am a Certified Directory Engineer, as well as a CNE, so when I say something stupid its with years of training, :-O. I also have an outdated MCSE in NT4, not that its worth anything, but I like for people to know I'm not married to a product or vendor, and generally am not offended if you don't like my favorite OS, or application. I am running all kinds of Linux From Debian SID on my main Home PC, to SuSE 9.3 on my Toshiba Laptop, and I'm playing with OpenSuSE 10 Beta 3 on the company Dell D600 Laptop (I wouldn't recommend this laptop to anyone in case you were wondering). The only problem I'm having with openSuse so far is that the ndiswrapper (for the broadcom wireless NIC) isn't being handled properly either by YaST, wpa_supplicant, or ndiswapper itself. I removed wpa_supplicant from the system, and I still have the problem so its either YaST (I know think this is so) or ndiswrapper. You folks may hear more of this as I try to work through the bug (bug number 113635 in Bugzilla). -- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16!
