I cried when I saw the English 'translations' a few years ago and issued a Yeppee because I speak German and could understand it. :-)
Much better now. Must say I have not really looked at the manuals anymore. Is there a reason that the HTML version is not online, but the pdf's are? HTML online makes much, much more sence. Could they be put up on openSUSE?
The manuals are available in "/usr/share/doc/manual". I also have mirrored the spanish versions: http://www.polinux.upv.es/~vfernandez/suse/manuales/suselinux-adminguide-9.2... http://www.polinux.upv.es/~vfernandez/suse/manuales/suselinux-userguide-9.2-... Anyone is free to do the same with the other languages, since the license explicitly allows to freely redistribute it as long as you don't remove the copyright note. If I don't remember bad, the english version is available at Novell's website. Not easy to find but it's there. Google will likely be helpful. -- Víctor Fernández Martínez Gabinete de prensa de PoLinux [www.polinux.upv.es]. Usuario de Linux registrado #312284 en http://counter.li.org.
