SuSE works fine with the Prism WiFi adapter built into my ThinkPad. However, if you want to check yours, try the LiveCd version of SuSE.
Discovered it don't. I cannot find the firmware for it. It use the isl3886 but suse downloads the isl3890. According to prism54.0rg there is no rush in supporting the Javelin/Xbox wifi card which is built into my laptop :( I rely on the wifi heavily as I use it away from home a lot and canot afford to be without.
