To keep compatibility, never-ever use these two Hungarian chars in your files & filenames, use ö and ü instead! I had constantly (~frequently) problems with the above two even on Hungarian locale e.g. while mailing my friends having win* and/or lin*. Then I decided to move on without _any_ special characters.

Thank for your answer. I did not talk about characters in filenames. I had these problems with characters in the presentation slides. Cheers, IG
