This is an old system that uses on board graphics, it doesn't even have a slot for a AGP slot on the mother board. It does seem like it may be something of a ram issue though. I tried upping the ram with a 256mb stick from another box, and now the total recognized ram is 319mb, but the result is still the same.
I also tried installing CENT OS, and it installed without any problem. If all else fails I'll leave it with CENT OS, which is not nearly as slick looking as Suse, but at least it will work.
You can always use one of the pci slots for a graphics card to test where the problem resides. It does not have to be one that uses a AGP slot. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 "The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners." -Ernst Jan Plugge
