I am seeing duplicate, and in some cases, triplicate copies
of posts to the list. There is no pattern, it's not every
post, but it is happening with enough frequency that
I am noticing a half dozen occurances per day.
I've checked the obvious places on my own system
for clues to the cause, but find no hints in any logs.
The headers of a post I just received three copies of
are shown below. The second received line (reading
bottom to top) shows the delivery between lists.suse.com
and my ISP (Pacbell, which is SBC, which is Prodigy).
The three identical messages all show different
times for that delivery, which makes me think
the problem is either on SuSE's end, or my
ISP's end.
1st Msg ->Tue, 3 May 2005 21:27:27 -0700
2nd Msg->Tue, 3 May 2005 21:38:29 -0700
3rd Msg-> Tue, 3 May 2005 21:57:39 -0700
Note that the 1st received line on all three
messages has an identical timestamp,
4 May 2005 04:31:31 -0000
Anyone else seeing duplicates like this? If
other subscribers are seeing something
similar, it would seem to point to lists.suse.com
as the problem. If not, my ISP must be
the problem.
