Is PDT correct for this time of year? Is this set automagically?

Pacific Daylight (Savings) Time, PDT is correct. You'll use PST, Pacific Standard Time, in the winter. This was set for you when you selected your TimeZone, for example, Los Angeles. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=137 ~James
