Thanks, yes the kernel recognizes the board and displays it in the hardware
list in Yast. Unfortunately it does not recognize and attached drives, nor
even list any drive devices attached to the board. I'm assuming it does not
recognize the Promise RAID system, so will not see any drives. I'll try
creating the drives as JBOD, and see if SLE will see them individually, then
create RAID under the OS.

one of the drivers included in the linux kernel should work fine. update your system kernel.
