Go To Control Center The select YaST2 modules. Then Hardware. Then Network Devices. Then Network Card. The wizard will take to where you can choose DHCP or static IP. On Friday 13 May 2005 22:14, Jim Flanagan wrote:
Hi all,
How do I set the IP address on my nic? I have a new Suse 9.3 install, connected to an firewall/router/dhcp via ethernet. I'd like to change the address (internal) from that the router gave this box. I looked at ifconig --help but was unsure if that was the way to go, an which options to select.
Many thanks,
