The index files are probably misleading kmail. Shut down kmail and delete the index files, then kmail will regenerate correct indices when it starts up
You will find the index files in the Mail directory, with names like .<folder>.index, .<folder>.index.ids and so on
Hi, I had the same problen when I installed 9.3 and regenerating the indexes did not work. Someone on the KDE listserver advised that this is a known prob and currently unsolved. PeterB
