It says that redhat is quite huge.
How does suse compare to redhat?
There's really no comparison - Redhat only offers a server product, unless you're talking about corporate IT departments that are used to dealing with Microsoft. Their desktop offering is behind the times and the licensing for it is a joke to people who are familiar with linux. The server product (products, technically, but if you spend some time digging thru the details, you'll find that it boils down to artificial limitations, just like Microsoft does with Windows) is about equivilant to SuSE 9.1, and the 'support' is about as good as Microsofts. It's mainly a marketplace distinction. If you want functionality and you know about newsgroups and a reasonable amount about linux, Redhat is a waste of money. As for fedora, it's unstable and buggy - far too much so to use for a business. Mike- -- Mornings: Evolution in action.
