I seem to be having a problem with sudoers. I'm trying to set it up, so that root commands in /usr/local/bin, can be run by a specified user. When I have the line "jknott ALL=NOPASSWD:/usr/local/bin", in sudoers, I get asked for the root password, instead of my own. Once I have entered it, I can then run any sudo command, without having to enter the root password again. According to the sudoer man page, I should be able to have an entry, such as "jknott = NOPASSWD: /usr/local/bin", but visudo gives an error with that entry. I'm running SuSE 9.2. The permissions on sudo are -rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 86656 Oct 2 2004 /usr/bin/sudo Any ideas? tnx jk
