Hi friends. I'm downloading SuSE 9.3 via torrent (http://www.knetdome.com/bt/suse93pro.allcds.torrent) 1825 mb out of 3418.6 mb is complete. The output of "file" command is this... Makentoo SUSE_9.3_PROF_i386_5CD_set # file * SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD1.iso: ISO 9660 CD-ROM filesystem data 'SU930.001 ' (bootable) SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD2.iso: data SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD3.iso: MPEG ADTS, layer I, v1, Monaural SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD4.iso: empty SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD5.iso: empty tmp: directory Makentoo SUSE_9.3_PROF_i386_5CD_set # Now when i mount the first CD image on loopback using mount file.iso -o loop -t iso9660 ./tmp it gets mounted properly. But when i cat README or any other file, its filled up with all ASCII junk data. Nothing readable. So? Is the download corrupted? or is it normal when downloading with torrent (ie, the way torrent stuffs the file to be downloaded with junk & clears it out as & when chunks are downloaded)? If i go by the second thought, hasn't the first ISO image not been completed yet??? Please help! -- regards, makuchaku --- http://makuchaku.blogspot.com #gnutech [at] nl.chatjunkies.org --- Linux...
