Hi there, Have a few workstations with a gfx card which when installed, creates devices under /dev. To allow proper use of this, we need to set the devices r+w for the group and owner. Each time SuSE (9.2) restarts the modes on these files is reverted back to a more restrictive mode. I suspect a script does a sanity check on the device tree as the system is coming up. Which script might be doing this? thanks folks, and have a great weekend, greg
