Ahhh.... I just tried to plugin a new Princeton LCD1700 monitor, before doing so on my (very) old one I set the monitor type as Princeton LCD17, 1280 x 768, and the test didn't cause any breakage on the old monitor so I've accepted it... Anyhow.... when booting up with the new monitor I get to the where it would usually be the login page but I'm being told 'SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE' ---- as far as I can tell what frequencies were originally set should work with the freqs suggested in the new monitores manual... but something is not quite right..... In the manual there are different Types (VESA60, VESA70, and VESA75), I've got no idea whats happening... I do note that VEA75 has the highest freq range out of them all.... Help !?! please that is.
