Hi all, I have 9.2 installed on my laptop with all bells and whistles, and one thing I use it for is to connect to servers and run x-apps remotely. I do this with ssh -X server.name. I have 2 equal servers set up with SuSE9.2 minimal install plus the software needed for the services they provide. One server gives me no problem, I can run x-apps, the other gives me the error: Cannot open display []. So I suspect this is not a problem on my laptop, but on the machine refusing to connect. I already checked /var/log/messages, compared sshd_config, but I cannot find any clues to what causes this. I did find in my remote homedir that there were diffs in ownership of .x* and .X* files (some were owned by root on the problem-machine). I have been setting them the same, but this does not help.
