Is there a way to have an entire KDB desktop on a remote X-Server. In this case the X-Server would be a Mac OS X system.
X :2 -query audio vt09&
will connect to the remote X server and show it's login screen on console 8. You need to make sure the remote server is set to accept remote connections, but I don't know how to do that in OSX.
Mac OSX doesn't run X by default however I believe it can be run alongside Aqua this is currently the way to get openoffice to run on a Mac. I would recommend installing the MAC VNC client and enabling "Remote Administration" in YAST. Then simply point the Mac VNC client at suseboxip:1 (subsitute the IP address of your SuSE box for "suseboxip") -- David Bottrill david@bottrill.org www.bottrill.org Registered Linux user number 330730 Internet SIP Phone: 1-747-244-2699
