I have a couple sites that use dlt drives be we use BRU as the backup software after evaluating several. We've had the drives eat tapes twice, which usually results in a service call and a drive change because you have to dis-assemble the device to extract the tape, and that violates the warranty. Its just lest risk to send it in and get a replacement. Dell has stood behind the drives, and replaced them when they gobbeled tapes. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
