I take it DAR backs up to another hard disk in the system. Correct me if im wrong.
DAR backs up to DVDs, CDs, Floppies, ZIP drives. Basically anything where you need your backup 'sliced up' to fit on the media. DAR is as fast as your media layer, more or less.
