Hi, I have suse 9.2 and I am having problems with usb flash keys. It is same with or without subfs. When I first plug it in (after a restart) it gets recognized (look ex. 1), but when umounted/ejected and then plugged again it gets stuck somewhere in the middle (look at ex. 2) with all the lights. It is not device specific as it happens with three keys all known to work with linux and even booted linux many times. Now they are fat16 formatted.
I have the same problem but with any usb device, i'll try to paste my logs tonight when I get home.
ex. 1: usb 3-5: new high speed USB device using address 5 usb 3-5: Product: Mass storage usb 3-5: Manufacturer: USB usb 3-5: SerialNumber: 142E1941AD124214 Initializing USB Mass Storage driver... scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices Vendor: 512MB Model: USB2.0FlashDrive Rev: 2.00 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 sda: Unit Not Ready, sense: Current : sense key Unit Attention Additional sense: Not ready to ready change, medium may have changed SCSI device sda: 1024000 512-byte hdwr sectors (524 MB) sda: Write Protect is off sda: Mode Sense: 03 00 00 00 sda: assuming drive cache: write through sda: sda1 Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 Attached scsi generic sg0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0, type 0 USB Mass Storage device found at 5 usbcore: registered new driver usb-storage USB Mass Storage support registered.
