There is an option under the Login Screen Setup to select a theme. One standard theme includes the ability to browse the list of users on the system. There is an icon associated with each user. It appears to be unique - I have 6 entries and there are 6 unique icons. Clearly there's a limit - but that is a different question.
I would like to know how to change the icon that is associated with a user entry. I've poked around, tried to use the on-line docs for a way to change the icons for a user but came up emty-handed. Can someone tell me either how to do this or point me in the right direction?
Alas, I am writing this at work on IE6/Windows 2000 (not very busy!) so I can't check, but I am sure there is an option to change these icons within the desktop menu structure in Gnome - maybe in desktop preferences or gdm-configurator (face browser option). HTH David
