I looked through the past 2 months postings on the suse-linux-e and suse-linux-kde lists but did not see my problem discussed. If it is and I missed it, my apologies, and I'd appreciate being pointed to any discussion I may have missed. Using SuSE 9.1. Just did a Yast On-Line update including the kernel. Now I cannot reset my time or date (in lower right hand corner of panel button bar). I right click and then enter my password. The clock configuration program (Adjust Date and Time) tries to open, and the Yast2 screen starts to display, but then immediately closes. If I open the Control Center and then click Yast2/modules/system/date and time/administrator mode (and enter password)/OK it then says "Yast2 is starting up." But then the screen for making the changes does not open. I am left with an empty window. I can change the time in the BIOS, and it seems to stick on the desktop clock. But I should not have to do it that way. It's always been easy to reset time and date with a right click on the clock. But no longer. Any ideas on how to get back the Adjust Date and Time feature? Many thanks for your help. Gil
