OK I got the Nvidia installer going. But now when I init 5 I get no
graphics.
I checked out the X log and after it loads all the nvidia options it
says
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!
Then it aborts and unloads the NVIDIA Module and tells me no screens
found :-( Any ideas here?

No i am having trouble getting Nvida driver installed. It wont complile because it says it cannot find kernel source evenm though I have it installed. I also tried to update it through yast. How can I load the Nvidia driver?
Install kernel-sources package. as root: #cd /usr/src/linux #make cloneconfig #make dep then, download the driver from nvidia.com: #sh nvidia-installerxxxxx.run #sax2 -m 0=nvidia This should work. Sunny -- Get Firefox http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=10745&t=85
