OK I got the Nvidia installer going. But now when I init 5 I get no graphics. I checked out the X log and after it loads all the nvidia options it says (EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module! Then it aborts and unloads the NVIDIA Module and tells me no screens found :-( Any ideas here?

Install kernel-sources package.
as root: #cd /usr/src/linux #make cloneconfig #make dep
then, download the driver from nvidia.com: #sh nvidia-installerxxxxx.run
#sax2 -m 0=nvidia
This should work.
