You are right, now I've seen where SuSE 9.2 has put it and to be sure it doesn't work, the only one that has a javaws that works is in j2sdk1.4.2_05 from Sun. So it looks like SuSE's 1.4.2 and Sun's latest 1.5.0 both have javaws broken.
I don't know about 1.5.0, but I installed last week Sun's latest release of the 1.4.2 SDK (1.4.2_06, the one issued after serious seucrity problems were fixed), and javaws works fine. On my machine, it's under /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2/jre/javaws.
Regards,
Thanks, I shall have a look at that. I went for 1.5.0 because it includes netbeans. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
