It seems after upgrading via YaST on my 9.2 SuSE Pro workstation that Evolution POP3 is locking up frequently. Am I the only one that has to restart the app to get it to work ?

after yesterday's YOU my evolution behavior is the same as before - i.e. fine but my Quanta freezes up every session in certain situations when some newly written text is unsaved and i high light text with the mouse then more or less every time i have a freeze up.
when i save before highlighting - then all fine.
it shows that sometimes an upgrade is a step back.
days earlier i upgraded my evolution via red-carpet on dec 12 and again on dec 14 and both times it resulted in a fully useless evolution that crashed each time before opening and also failed to recognize already existing acount-data from current version.
i have to remove almost all - and reinstall via YAST - and keep my finger off the red-carpet updates for evolution.

Interesting, but I realy don't want to lose all my e-mail again. Another issue is I can't import anything from my previous Evolution install. This really sucked.

the acocunt-data and email import from the earlier evolution version 1.x was fine with the first ORIGINAL 2.x version from suse 9.2 .. all email and account data were imported without any problem at all only the red-carpet upgrade to daily snaps i used a week or so ago caused again an import problem EACH time i wanted to start the newest upgraded evolution however when i downgraded again to original suse 9.2 evolution 2.x - all email and account data were still there and intact. the success of this downgrade was only active after the next reboot of the machine. hans
