Please stop top posting. As it happens, my DAT drive used 4 Gb tapes, so I used DVDs (4.7 Gb). Took a week (Dar takes 3 days using DARomizer) to fill 50 of them, after which - bang. Wasted a week, still had no backup. I repeat - any backup system which has a limit on the number of media you can use is a poorly thought out design.
