Do you mean that i have to use the root password ? It doesn't works on my install ! Laurent Renard
I recently installed zope/plone on SuSE from source, so I can't vouch for the rpm installation. But it is supposed that during the installation/configuration process, zope asks for the username/pw of the admin account.
When installing from source, after installing the binaries ('make install') one has to run the 'mkzopeinstance.py' script to create a default zope instance on the server. The script will ask for the location of the new instance, as well as for the username/pw of the admin account.
I would suppose that installing from rpm is not very different in this regard. Have you run the mkzopeinstance.py script? Have you created the default instance yet?
