I set the burn speed at 20 (which is k3b's average burn speed when it works).
For my TEAC CD-RW I always have to leave it at Auto for the speed with k3b. If I try to use anything else it won't burn the CD-R/RW. Took a wee bit o' time to figure that out. Maybe your CD burner is similar. Stan
