This is on 9.2, I wonder if it needs kdelibs3-devel installed.

As expected this is what i get after running findsym:
agusti@TWPT035001:~> findsym _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap /usr/local/bin/findsym: One or more of your libraries are stripped. /usr/local/bin/findsym: The symbol may not be found because of this. /usr/local/bin/findsym: The symbol _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap was not found.
I don't understand why i should need a devel package, i haven't tried to compile anything, i've just installed the software using YaST.
I'm using SuSE 9.1 and installed the suplementary KDE 3.3 update.
Thanks,
Agustí
Try this and see what you get # nm /opt/kde3/lib/libkdeui.so|grep _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap 00146ba0 T _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer =====LINUX ONLY USED HERE=====
Ok, so _ZN11KMainWindow7setIconERK7QPixmap is not found in my /opt/kde3/lib/libkdeui.so file. This means that i need your version of kdelibs3 (I have an older version). But why the other rpms installed without complaining about this? Is this a bug in the rpms found in the suplementary KDE 3.3 update? Agustí
