Your raid does not use dual processors, it has its own on board controller that does all the work. If your raid is degraded, (one lost drive) you would notice slow writes (slow everything actually, but writes moreso. You need to use the boot time built in PERC4 utilities to verify that. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
