I am using Suse 9.1 Personal. Is there a locate command ?
Don't know if personal has it but on pro it's: findutils-locate-4.1.7-860 The best way to find which package you want when you don't already have it installed is: http://www.pbone.net Go to advanced search, hit "Uncheck All" then check the Suse distros you are interested in and type "locate" as the search string. If for example an attempted compile told you you need a particular library, you could search for that and get the correct RPM.
