Hi, there seems to be an issue with recent versions of gfxboot or the gfxboot/grub-combination. I updated gfxboot with apt, and now the function key menus have changed, or better: some of them are lost, namely the scpm profile selection which I need on my notebook. Another thing missing is the list of languages. The only supported language in the grub boot menu is english now, help texts are missing, too. I tried to rebuild the "message" file from the sources under /usr/share/gfxboot/themes/SuSE, and during 'make' there are error resp. warning messages, telling me something along the lines of "profiles never referenced" or "languages never referenced". I suspect this is somehow related to my problem. The 'message' produced by 'make' is exactly the same size as the one I installed in binary form earlier. Does anyone know how I can get my grub menu back to its full functionality? The gfxboot-mechanism is IMHO not very well documented, for me it is not obvious what's happening during the 'make' run. Maybe someone of SuSE can help out? Thanks, Mirko
