Since upgrading to KDE 3.3 kaudiocreator has stopped working properly. On trying to rip a CD it spins the disk up and down constantly and eventually rip's a track but it can take forever (several hours) to rip a CD.
I've tried it on three different CD drives, a USB, a SCSI, and an IDE (under ide-scsi).
Anybody any suggestions?

With the new kde 3.3.1 packages available, kaudiocreater now works fine.
(And there was much rejoicing.) Actually.... I've just upgraded to KDE3.3.1 (using apt) and it still doesn't work, in fact doesn't even recognise my CD players. Also, K3b doesn't see's the drives but doesn't recognise them as writers (even when I login as root and run it)
I'm just trying to find out why.... Phil
