An observation on my new laptop using its wireless-G interface under SuSE 9.1 Pro: The "netstat -i" command is showing a lot of RX-ERRs. In fact, there are more RX-ERR than RX-OK. There are no RX-DRP or RX-OVRs. So far I haven't seen any TX-ERRs but then almost all my traffic is download. Is this just the nature of wireless or is there something I could adjust? I am getting strong reception so that shouldn't be a problem. There are other wireless nets in the area, could those be causing the bad packets? Should I even worry about this at all? I am used to seeing much less errors on a wired ethernet... Your insights are welcome. -Ti -- Ti Kan http://www.amb.org/ti Vorsprung durch Technik
