I have to copy my Mozilla Bookmarks.html over to a XP machine.
I E-mailed it as an attachment, saved it to My Documents, renamed it bookmark.htm, but XP-MS IE 6.0 complains that it is in the wrong format.
Anyone done this successfully, please?
The steps that work are??

Export to an html file. Import into Konqueror. Export as IE bookmarks into an empty folder that IE can see such as on a FAT32 partition or that you can copy over to an MS machine. Don't know if there are any Mozilla/Firefox extensions to export as IE *.url style bookmarks.

OK, Exported the imported into the Web version of Konqueror (I am specifying that in case someone else reads this in the future -- the File Manager version of Konqueror will not work).
When I go to Export to a SD Card the screen does mostly blank then resets to where it was but nothing has been saved.
Can Konq not save to a SD Card?
I also tried to save to an outboard USB drive and that failed the same way.
doc kd4e That probably depends on how those device's partitions are formatted. Sometimes the original partition does not play well with non-MS Windows data or systems. Do you have a FAT32 or vfat partition you could save to? Then drag&drop or cut&paste that directory to one of those devices. You may have to re-partition one of those devices with YAST or parted or qtparted and put a LInux vfat partition on it. That should be perfectly readable by MS systems. Are these machines networked? Could you save to the other machine's hard drive? Stan
