Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why our mail server is rejecting emails from a specific smtp server ?
In the sendmail logs, I get: ruleset=check_relay, arg1=smtp.xxx.xx, arg2=xxx.xxx.x.xx, relay=smtp.xxx.xx [xxx.xxx.x.xx], reject=550 5.7.1 Access denied
This is causing a problem as one of my hosted domains is not receiving any email sent from the company with the smtp server that is getting rejected.
I am beggining to think this check_relay is looking in some black lists and possibly finding that their smtp server is black listed... If this is the case, how can I a: check this is the reason, b: resolve the issue.
Any help greatly appreciated.
