I've setup my notebook LCD for VESA 1024x768 and it works fine, but every time I boot SuSE I get:

Did I miss something completely?
Okay, a little bit of theory... X-Windows attempts to draw every thing in it's appropiate size. In order to know how to draw a 2" box, X-Windows needs to know 1) how many pixels your screen has (this you have told him) 2) How many inches your screen has. (This is what it is complaining about) It cannot calculate the number of pixels-per-inch and therefore has no idea if what it is drawing is 2', 2" or 1/200 inch big... Say yes... Take a rule and measure the viewable portion of your screen and input that in the dialog, and that is all that is required... Jerry
