I guess there was a problem with LinNeighborhood where when mounting a drive, an error would pop up with "Can't resolve address". Someone made a patch for it which I downloaded from the LN website called LinNeighborhood-0.6.5-samba3.patch. My question is, how do you apply it? I couldn't find any instructions on their site.
This is not for LinNeighborhood in particular so I'm not sure if it'll work for it but... This is normally how you do it: $ tar -xvzf LinNeighborhood-xxx.tar.gz $ cd LinNeighborhood-xxx $ patch -p1 < /path/to/LinNeighborhood-0.6.5-samba3.patch Then you can do the usual ./configure -> make -> su -> make install PS: check man patch for details -- - E - on SUSE 9.1 | KDE 3.3 | ASUS P4C800 Deluxe \ Pentium 4 3.0GHz | Tachyon G9600 PRO-M \ Transcend 2GB RAM | copperwalls was here ;) No 3D for Tachyon :( I don't use 3D now anyway :) "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you." - James 4:8
