I get the same thing... do a rclisa restart from the command line and all will be well. I haven't had any issues since.
Works for me as well

Is LISa broken in SuSE 9.1? When I try to start it it the runlevel editor, it gets to "lisa start" with a running clock and stays there. I cannot close that panel, except by rebooting the computer.
Open a shell and type xkill then click on the window that has hung and yast will close up shop, no need to reboot.
kdesystemguard can be used to do the same job as well as close processes that may be left behind even though the window has closed.
Also, in the Control Center, on the "Local Network Browsing" page, there's no tabs for LISa, as there is in SuSE 9.0. I've tried removing & reinstalling it, but get the same results.
Ctrl+Alt+Esc then click on the offending program and gone .. good night Vienna your cursor turnd to an Skull and crossbones place that over the offender click .. bingo.
