tar zxfv nvu-0.30-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz -C /usr/local/ ln -s /usr/local/nvu-0.30/nvu /usr/local/bin/ You can just enter "nvu" from the command line or create a desktop icon to execute /usr/local/bin/nvu Regards Sid.
