I have 9.1. I checked the DVD and couldn't find anything relating to ddns. Maybe I checked wrong. What are you using?
I tried a couple from their site but wasn't smart enough to figure out what I needed to change.

My 9.1 distribution lists these packages: - ddt DDT is short for Dynamic Dns Tools. The goal of the project is to provide an open and free (in the GPL-sense) set of tools that will permit the deployment of secure and reliable dynamic DNS services. It uses BIND's dynamic update capabilities to provide authenticated updates. There are three parts to Dynamic DNS Tools: the DDT client daemon, ddtcd, and the actual client, ddtc; the DDT server daemon, ddtd, and the admin utility, ddt-admin; and the CGI scripts used for web-based account registration and administration. Homepage of the project: http://www.ddts.net/ - ddt-client This is a client for DDT (Dynamic DNS Tools) servers. It can be used to update an DNS entry of a host, that in fact has a dynamic IP address, in a secure fashion. The communication between clients and server is encrypted and authenticated, and the server uses the dynamic DNS update capabilities of BIND. Homepage of the project: http://www.ddts.org/ - ddclient DDclient is a small full featured client requiring only Perl. Supported features include: operating as a daemon, manual and automatic updates, static and dynamic updates, optimized updates for multiple addresses, MX, wildcards, abuse avoidance, retrying failed updates, and sending update status to syslog and through e-mail. This release may now obtain your IP address from any interface, web based IP detection, many router with user configurable FW definitions and now provides Full support for DynDNS.org's NIC2 protocol. Support is also included for other dynamic DNS services. Comes with sample scripts for use with DHCP, PPP, and cron. Randall Schulz
