Hi,
I recently purchased a SE T637 mobile phone with Bluetooth and a D-Link DBT-120 BT USB adapter. So far, I've had great luck with syncing contacts w/Evolution and using it as a dial-up device (all on SuSE 8.2). However, the last struggle is the ability to view/send/get files from the device. I've been using a Windows box to access files for now, but has anybody on this list used a particular app/GNOME/KDE add-on that has been really nice to use? As mentioned, on SUSE 8.2, running XD2 as my daily desktop. KDE 3.1 is installed as well. Thanks.
I use kdebluetooth on my laptop and I can send files to and from the handset, use GPRS for net-on-the-go. Oddly I've yet to get contacts syncing with Kontact. As far as I'm aware there is no way to view files without transferring them. It simply pops up when I send from handset, and there's an explorer like tool for accessing handset files from the computer. HTH -- Steve Boddy
